Rustic Cabin Rental
Welcome to our rustic off grid cabin in the woods located on 32 acres of gorgeous rocky landscape and forest backing onto crown land. With access to Weslemkoon Lake there is both land and lake to explore.
The cabin is open concept and sleeps 5 with a double bed and bunk with trundle bed. There is a dry kitchen, large eating table, indoor washroom with composting toilet, fire pit, BBQ, and outdoor washroom facility.
It is a wonderful area to bring the kids to explore nature, hike, ATV, sled, mountain bike or go fishing in one of Ontario’s best fishing lakes.
The rustic cabin is located less than an hour from Bancroft and 1.5 hours to Bon Echo Provincial Park. The surrounding area has many extensive trails and boats can be rented at the local Marina in the summer months. Take in all that nature has to offer and enjoy the amazing night sky with thousands of stars while sitting around the warm glowing campfire in the evenings.
The cabin is warm and cozy and mostly off grid with no running water (potable water is provided), LED lanterns are provided and solar powered lighting. Hydro has recently been added for small appliance use. The washroom is an upscale and tastefully decorated outhouse, with an indoor compost toilet for emergency and nighttime use. Enjoy your glamping experience without the tent but instead in your own secluded cozy cabin in the woods. A few games are supplied for family fun, along with some plates and utensils including BBQ essentials. There is a BBQ available for your use including a side burner. Bring your own linens or sleeping bags and your camping essentials (camping food, drinks, cooler to keep food cold, pillows, flashlight, etc). We can provide suggestions if this is your first glamping experience.
